About Me
Jeff's Gritty Metalworks is based in Menlo Park, California. Creating unique Industrial/Rustic/Farmhouse Lamps, Furniture/Decor pieces, and also using reclaimed materials to weld metal yard, garden and functional art. I like the feel of power tools, welders, metals and wood in my hands as I create pieces that I like, and, I have found, others like as well. Making functional art pieces has become a passion of mine. Making the Old New
All pieces are handmade. Here you can see me making a lampshade out of a 1950s era gas can. The finished product can be found in my gallery, as well as on this site and my Etsy shop for purchase. It is an upcycled lamp standing approximately 28" high. If you like the idea of upcycling old products into new functional pieces for your home, yard or garden, then you will love my work.
My Creative Space
This is my workshop where I make most of my pieces. It is fully equipped with everything I need to be as creative as possible. Larger welding projects need to be taken outside into my driveway, but this is the space where I can fully immerse myself in the creative process to make one of a kind pieces.
